KARIM

Proudly presenting : Prince KARIM , my one and only brother!

Last Sept 21 and 22 were the re-runs of the first Filipino -Original Opera: 'Karim at Jasmin'...

Pete played the lead role of Prince Karim.

It was unfortunate that no one from my family was able to see him perform.

Pete is a born artist. I remember during our younger years, he would always be part of all our school program. He started singing at the age 3 and can follow a 'minus-one' tape at his young age. His first media performance was in Radio Veritas in the program of Nova Villa. I remembered that everyone of us were listening to the radio when he was invited to sing there.

His love for music was followed by a recording stint with WEA Records for the WEA Children Choir, year after the EDSA revolution. ( Claudine Baretto was even part of that choir) , came after were several TV performances with German Moreno TV program...

Pete's love for music brought him to different heights. He joined Tiples de Santo Domingo during his elementary days and had been exposed to Choral competitions since then. In college, Pete joined the UST Action Singers where he had the opportunity to travel around Europe, Asia and the US.

Pete have bagged several awards in music. He was a graduate of Music ED in the University of Santo Tomas and been a teacher in music in St. James Academy Manila and now in one private school in Los Angeles.

During the years of Pete's performances in MAnila, our family have been there to support him and cheer him up. We never missed a show. I remember even skipping my class or work just to watched him... Am a proud sister, an avid fan!

We all want to see him perform Prince Karim, i want my parents to see it as well. The distance will never be a barrier , we may be million miles away from each other... but will always remain his number one fan!
