After last week of posting my walk to memory lane... Jean tagged me to write the top five of my best nights... this might take me awhile because i need to dig up my memory bank. Let me try... i have to write it randomly as it comes to me...
1. August - Summer 2002 , Oslo Norway - My first ever summer camp! My first walk to the mountain of Nordheimen , where i first saw snows and the amazing scenery of Norway . Did my first rafting in the cold river too ... After the long and tiring day, we had dinner , my first taste of the the traditional norwegian meal under an indian tent... we had bon fire and it was a real fun! It was my first dinner with different people of different race! AM the only filipina and that makes me proud of it.
2. December 31, 2004 - New Year in BC, Canada. I welcomed 2006 in Canda with my relatives that i haven't seen for almost 20 long years. I have never imagined that it would ever happen to me... but it happen indeed !
3. December 24, 2005 - Noche Buena with the whole family in Bulacan after 2 years of being away from home. My brother went home as well from LA (havent seen for over 2 years as well) ... It was also a memorable night because it was my first Christmas with ' J' in the Philippines.
4. December 31, 2006 - First New Year Celebration in Bulacan (after we have settled there for almost 5 years, because we usually spend our New Years Eve in my lola's place in Navotas)... That year, All my relatives from Navotas joined us in our celebration.
I remembered that we had round the clock fire crackers , karaoke 'sing -along' and barbeques!...it was 'J's first New Year in the Philippines too...
5. Can i leave this day for my wedding night? and hoping I can add it up in time... ( my heart wishes that to be soon)
